The Apennines range, the backbone of the Italian peninsula, can be as amazing as the Alps and offer a fantastic driving and sightseeing experience.

In this tour you will drive our exclusive Miatas into its most impressive peaks including the Gran Sasso (2911 m) and the Velino (2487 m), with roads reaching 2130 m above the sea level.

This is a tour for passionate drivers, a unique driving experience that you will never forget, as well as a great food & wine experience, like Italy only can provide.

Schedule

Note: The schedule and destinations may vary from tour date to tour date due to incremental tour enhancements or scheduling adjustments.

Day 0: Arrival in Rome. Relax at the hotel and enjoy the afternoon in Rome. A “Meet & Greet” in the late afternoon before our Welcome Dinner.
Day 1: After leaving Rome, spectacular roads through rugged mountains are our way to L’Aquila, a magnificent, historical town nestled among the Gran Sasso and Velino mountains.
Day 2: Loop to the Gran Sasso, the highest mountain of the Apennines range.
Day 3: Loop to Lake Campotosto and Amatrice.
Day 4: We drive along more magnificent roads to our the Miata Garage before boarding the vans and returning to Rome hotel by mid-afternoon. The day finishes with the Tour Celebration dinner.
Day 5: Departure from the hotel, until we meet again!
