About the Tour

A motorcycle tour in Central Italy is a memorable experience per se. The beauty of the landscape and the quality of the roads are fantastic and comparable to the Alps.

Doing that on a vintage BMW bike is unique. If you are a classic motorcycle lover, this is definitely an occasion you cannot miss.

These are the bikes you will ride:

– 1958 BMW R50 single seat

– 1967 BMW R69S

– 1968 BMW R60/2

– 1969 BMW R60/2

All of them are in perfect shape and equipped with recent tires and tire tubes.

Each participant will drive all the bikes.

The owner of these beauties is Alfredo Massini. Besides being a very nice person, Alfredo is a BMW expert and lover. Years ago he took over a renown BMW repair shop in Downtown Rome. He owned it for over twenty years. In that period he became THE reference for classic BMW aficionados of Rome and Central Italy. Then he sold it and opened a new shop in the little town of Rieti, which is where we will collect the bikes.

Of course, Alfredo is also a connaisseur of the Apennines area. That, and his knowledge of the bikes, is why he will be you tour leader in these five days.

Day 0: Landing at Rome Airport and shuttle to the hotel downtown. Meet & Greet and Welcome Dinner
Day 1: 1h 30′ shuttle to Rieti, where we meet Alfredo, the owner and Tour Leader, and the bikes. First loop ride to the Marmore Falls. Overnight in a hotel in Rieti
Day 2: Second loop ride to Amatrice and Lake Campotosto
Day 3: Third loop ride to l’Aquila
Day 4: Fourth loop ride to Leonessa
Day 5: Fifth loop ride to Mount Terminillo. Shuttle to Rome and Farewell Dinner
Day 6: Depart Rome for home or another adventure, until we meet again!
