About the Tour

The journey begins in Rome, leading to Civitavecchia for an overnight ferry to Barcelona, where we spend two nights and one full day to visit the Sagrada Familia and the other wonders of the great Gaudi. Then we drop the tops of our Miatas and head north toward France, where the massive medieval ramparts of Carcassonne welcome us.
Next, we cruise into the wild Camargue delta, driving past pink flamingos and white horses with the salty breeze in your hair. We visit the 2000-year-old Roman bridge-aqueduct Pont du Gard UNESCO site and symbol of the great heritage of European history. The road then winds into Provence, through sun-drenched lavender fields and twisting village roads where the Miata’s agile handling shines.
The ultimate thrill awaits in the French Alps. The MX-5 tackles the dramatic hairpin turns and high-altitude switchbacks with amazing precision. This unforgettable driving experience includes the Iseran, the highest pass in Europe at 2770 m.
gFinally, we descend into Milan, completing an unforgettable open-top Mediterranean odyssey.
